Turns out a lot of people have been putting out gameplay video of Gangstar Rio up on youtube in the last few weeks.
While the reviews have not been stellar, something I can agree with, it seems a lot of people are digging it and sending positive feedback despite all the flaws. That is humbling and incredibly encouraging as a game designer. The title will also be receiving regular updates. Hopefully we will gain more players over the coming months.
The videos linked here present mission and world gameplay. The first video in particular show the opening minutes of the game. Enjoy!

I’m incredibly happy to announce that Gangstar Rio: City of Saints is now out for both iPhone and iPad. Android version will be released soon.
I worked as a level Designer, helping produce content, fine tune gameplay and helping out with anything throughout production. It was a lot fun and hark work. This will be officially my first game to be released while working at Gameloft Montréal! The first of many more to come, hopefully.
My first demo reel in english is finally completed! It mainly showcases my work design, model and texture work for projects related to the Unreal 3 engine. Here’s the video! You can also watch it here for a better ambiance.
Here are some objects I made for Fact3. They were fun to do. Pretty much everything I desire to do is like that. More to come soon! As soon as I get more bandwith…
I’m overjoyed that, Fact3, my final studies project I worked with my team is finally released! Fact 3 is total conversion mod of Unreal Tournament 3. During the 3 months of production, my team and I managed to make a 100% custom level, 4 differents characters and introduced character classes to the Unreal World. I worked as 3D modeler, texture artist and sound editor on the project. Here’s the final 10 minute trailer:
You can download the mod by following this link. Be sure to own a legitimate copy of Unreal Tournament 3 because otherwise it will not work, at all.
Another character acting homework. My class and I had animated Dee from 11 Seconds Club to match some preselected sound clips. This one is based on a short scene from the movie “Bubble Boy”.
Character acting project. The assignment was to animate Dee (a premade character from 11 seconds Club) and make him stand up, all while showing a personality. As you can see here, Dee wakes up a bit depressed and feels to the need to unwind a bit before taking off. I had a lot of fun animating this.
In theaters in 2010! Sadly, no. This was a final project done with a classmate. I was in charge of the wings: modeling, texturing, animation, lighting, etc.
Intro theme for a fictional television show. Done with Combustion.
